Activities and Dining

A positive and uplifting atmosphere and delicious food can set the tone for a resident’s stay. Crown Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center employs outgoing and friendly professional staff to create interesting social programs and activities. We often tailor activities and meals to match the needs and capabilities of each resident. This has a powerful impact on the healing process.

  • Musical performances
  • Current events update
  • Reading the newspaper
  • Singing exercises
  • Fitness activities
  • Stretching exercises
  • Religious meetings
  • Entertainment

  • Field trips/outings
  • Volunteer involvement

Dining

Crown Bay residents enjoy appetizing, nutritious meals, which are prepared under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian. Prescribed diets, as well as personal preferences, are considered. Feeding assistance is given as necessary and personal feeding retraining is offered to those residents who will benefit. Therapeutic diets are provided with a physician’s orders. Those residents not on a therapeutic diet can choose from a delicious range of dishes that rotate daily. Crown Bay also has an Asian menu available daily for those residents who prefer it. And if the day’s traditional selection is not someone’s favorite, they can order from the Always Available menu.
